This morning scooter adventure begins with a ride through town to a lively local market just outside the city. Wander along colorful stalls, sample exotic fruits and local snacks, snap photos, and chat with friendly vendors.

Back on the electric motorbikes, we head deep into the countryside, cruising along quiet backroads, crossing small bridges and weaving through endless rice paddies where daily life unfolds at an unhurried pace.

Along the way, we stop at a welcoming family home that has been making traditional Vietnamese muffin cakes for nearly two decades. Watch the process, then try shaping a few yourself and enjoy the freshly baked taste!

The ride continues to a rustic café overlooking sweeping rice fields, complete with a bamboo walkway to an old brick kiln, one of the area’s most photogenic spots. This is a perfectly peaceful place to relax with a Vietnamese coffee or refreshing drink.

We then weave through small villages to visit another local family, where they still make rice crackers and noodles the traditional way. Feel the steam, see the skill up close, and roll up your sleeves to try it yourself!

After more scenic rides along rivers and through lush landscapes, we stop at a family-run rice wine distillery to learn the age-old craft and share a few laughs. We raise a glass or two and experience true countryside hospitality.

To finish, we cruise back to Hoi An over a classic iron bridge spanning the Thu Bon River, wrapping up a relaxed and authentic journey through the rural life that surrounds this historic town.

Our driver meets you at your hotel in the morning or afternoon. We start your countryside escape right from your doorstep.

We ride to a lively market just outside the city, wander along colorful stalls, sample exotic fruits and local snacks, snap photos, and chat with friendly vendors.

We cruise along quiet backroads and traverse bridges across waterways, weaving through endless rice paddies where daily life moves at a peaceful pace.

We stop at a welcoming family home. They have made traditional Vietnamese muffin cakes for nearly 20 years, and you get to watch and try shaping a few yourself.

We relax with a Vietnamese coffee at a rustic café with sweeping rice field views, then walk along a raised bamboo pathway to an old brick kiln. A very photogenic spot.

Not always! Hoi An’s rice fields change with the seasons. Depending on when we ride out, the landscape shifts from the reflective pools of the planting season to bright emerald, then heavy gold, followed by the harvest. Each season has its own charm, and your KIX host always helps you discover the countryside at its most authentic.

Pretty much, but the countryside runs on its own clock! The morning is cooler and quieter as local village life gets going; however, the market is busier! In the afternoon, the light turns a beautiful golden hue, and the tour across the rice fields feels extra laid-back. You visit the exact same charming family homes, rustic Café & local market on both, so just choose whichever fits your day!

We keep our groups small, capped at a maximum of ten guests. In reality, our tours run with smaller groups. That means we easily slip into quiet neighbourhood spots without crowding out the locals. Plus, you have plenty of time to chat and share laughs with your KIX host! Travelling solo? You’re very welcome. Our tours are guaranteed to run, even with just one guest booked.
